Jerry Della Mura is founder and CEO of Port Chester Florist. The Village Greenery and has been arranging flowers since 1972. Established in 1973 and originally known as simply The Village Greenery, he renamed the business and expanded its services in 1992. His focus has always been to continue to grow his business and to create a reliable brand name built on trust and customer service. In 1995, he acquired the 1-888 MrBokay telephone number and subsequently established the www.MrBokay.com web site in 1998. The origin of Bokay was its use as a florist short hand for the word Bouquet. He always felt that Mr. Bokay was a unique way to connect with his customer base. Today Mr. Bokay is spotlighted as an animated character at the end of our TV commercials and has his own jingle on our radio ads.
